Dublin, but in Space

This painting was definitely one I had a lot of fun with! It was also pretty labor intensive. Dublin has been one of my favorite cities for a long time. The architecture is something I love. I can never get enough of stone and brick buildings because I feel like they have so much character. Unfortunately for me, painting brown and gray over and over is less than exciting. So, for this cityscape I decided to switch it up with the colors and location (i.e. in space). I ended up using oil paint pens for the cracks on the buildings and I highly recommend them for smaller details.
