Portrait illustrations for The Keeper magazine

A recent project has been a couple of portrait illustrations for The Keeper – the magazine for members of Keepers of the Quaich, an international society of those involved in the Scotch Whisky industry.

I was commissioned to produce a header illustration and a drop-in image for an article profiling the society’s Brazilian chapter, featuring portraits of the chapter’s leaders. The client asked for the illustrations to suggest Brazil and South America, which was a great opportunity for me to have fun with vibrant colour and South American-inspired patterning. I am also really happy with the way the texture really adds to these images.
