New character design, indigenous 5th grader

A recent character design created for a series of math education workbooks for grade schoolers. By creating this indigenous “adventurous, curious” 5th grade female character, I was able to combine the culture and energy of the character in inclusive and non-stereotypical ways via body language, clothing, accessories and mood.

A wonderful challenge from MIND Research.
