Interactive infographic: Do We Have Happy Kids?

“Do We Have Happy Kids?” is an interactive infographic. UNICEF has repeatedly named the Netherlands as having “The Happiest Children in the World,” but the corona crisis has taken its toll. In 2019, 87% of kids described themselves as happy, in 2021 that figure dropped to 53%. Click the link to discover some of the factors as well as tips from the kids themselves on coping with the pandemic.

This image was made as my final project for a course in infographics & data-visualization at Hogeschool Utrecht. My professor passed it along to the head of the department, and they’ve licensed it to use on their website.
