My birthday was eight days after Kafka’s. As an illustrator for many years, I wanted to do a personal work for my benchmark birthday. I fantasized how Kafka would have reacted to a surprise birthday party thrown by his friends such as Sartre and Samuel Beckett. This is how I would visualize it going down. If Kafka felt alienated in his time, how would he reacted to online dating?
