Cast Theatre, The Magic Of Wild Heather

Recently I have been working at Cast Theatre in Doncaster. In a bit of a departure from producing my normal visual language, I’ve sat in rehearsals producing some reportage style illustrations through rehearsals up until the company put on the final production.

The Magic of Wild Heather is a community performance project through the National Theatre’s Public Acts Programme. The play tells the story of Heather and shows the propensities of human nature for both good and bad and about finding buds of hope. The play is woven with cabaret acts, dance and music. I went through every emotion with this project, but it was a great little departure for me.
