Finding Inner Peace

I’ve got a brand new autumnal-feeling illustration in the latest issue of Brio Magazine. The illustrations accompany an article on mindfulness and finding inner peace through a mixture of religion, meeting up with friends and family, exercise and music. The brief was very open and they just wanted something nice and restful, so I decided to focus on the time of year the article was coming out, autumn, and create a beautifully calming design full of blustery breezes, falling leaves and restful colours.

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
