Dracula Portrait

Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year so I decided to go ahead and create a photo-study of Dracula. The portrait itself was actually deceptively difficult to get right due to the foreshortening of the face and the light source shining from below the subject. I want to start incorporating this type of dramatic and ominous lighting in some of my future work so it was good to take a break from what I normally do and try something a bit different.

Working with Simon was wonderful. He communicated very quickly and clearly, paid amazing attention to detail, and really made sure to capture the feel we were looking for in a picture. Incredibly talented artist and overall great person.
