I am very excited to share that The Raptor was chosen by the Independent Press Awards as a 2022 Distinguished Favorite for Fantasy, as well as Cover Design-Fiction! I am also equally excited to share that the illustration has been selected to be included and published in the juried art annual Infected By Art Vol. 10.

Last year I was commissioned to create book cover illustrations (front and back) for the first two books of the Cataclysm series by G.A. Finocchiaro. The first book, The Raptor, is described as a supernatural ghost love story that is dark, but with a glimmer of hope. I am very happy to see such a positive response and recognition for this illustration. I have worked on several covers for Finocchiaro and it is always a wonderfully fun collaboration. Creating compelling cover art for fantasy books is one of my favorite assignments and I am looking forward to continuing to work with Finocchiaro and other independent authors and publishers in the future!

The Raptor is currently available on Amazon and through booksellers such as Barnes & Noble. The sequel, The Omega, is also available along with G.A. Finocchiaro’s other books.

I hired Rachel for a small project for a big client. I needed my small team of artists to knock it out of the park, and Rachel absolutely did. She communicated well, consistently, and on time. She took feedback, asked great questions, and delivered on time every week. The client was nothing short of blown away by her work and loved working with her. I will try to hire Rachel again for whatever opportunity comes next, you should too.
