The Postal Museum Sensory Story Booklet

I created a series of illustrations for London’s Postal Museum. The brief was to create designs to accompany their Sensory Story booklet, which encourages children to pick various elements (a character, a place, an object and a sensory element) to create their own story and get to discover more about the museum. My favourite of these designs is of storyteller and the author of the booklet, Olivia. My illustration introduces her to readers and hopefully tells a little more about her, including her home in London, love of wildlife (and cats!) and of course storytelling.

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
