I was commissioned by the tequila aficionados at Hacha Bar, London to create this limited edition print inspired by Cinco de Mayo. The 5th May festival is a huge annual celebration to commemorate the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

Hacha Bar have an award winning cocktail called Mirror Margarita and my limited edition poster is available when you buy one of one of their celebratory bottles. The original Tequila MM has been beautifully wrapped in a celebratory Cinco de Mayo bottle sleeve. There is a limited edition of copies of the bespoke artwork I created and each print is signed.

It was a great project to work on and my black ink style with the bright blue block colour sits well with the brand style. Salud!

Kate’s illustrations gave the front section of BBC World Histories magazine its own distinct character. She provided striking, quirky and original illustrations for a wide range of topics, in a tight timeframe. We liked her flexibility, lightness of touch and thoughtful approach. It was a great pleasure working with her!
