The Entertaining Issue

This image was done a few years ago for a local restaurant and recipe magazine’s Entertainment issue. I wanted to get away from working primarily in Illustrator and was looking for a technique that was faster than the click-and-drag of working in Illustrator. The finished illustration is similar to my Illustrator work but lacks the “perfection” that is IIllustrator, and I liked that. I’ve included the other roughs because I’ve found sometimes that I like the rough better than the final, because roughs tend to be more gestural and exciting than the finished work.
