Skeleton Study

A recent study in support of an upcoming commission.

I haven’t painted a ton of skeletal figures in action so I thought I’d create at least one study before forging ahead with the final illustration.

As it turned out, this proved to be a good idea. Not only was I more familiar with the overall structure but I was also able to create the finished illustration much faster as there was a lot less time spent trying to figure out the details.
