This idea had been sitting on the back burner for years. I think it fits nicely with one of my other favorite pieces “The Armchair” (in regards to subject matter). It’s a bit punny and creepy at the same time. This piece was rendered in black ink before being colored digitally. I imagined it as an album cover design and added a decorative graphic element around the border to frame it in a way that feels right for that format.

I spent a lot of time searching for "the right artist" to help me with the artwork for my new music CD and got lucky when I came across Ben's site! I was impressed by his portfolio and the variety of work which demonstrated strong technical skills and versatility. Working with Ben on this project has been a great experience - he's so easy to work with, has a really positive attitude and is keen on helping the client materialize the artistic vision. Ben delivered exactly what I had in mind and it was a lot of fun to see him take my brief descriptions and converge on what I wanted.
