About Alexis Amann.

I'm a freelance illustrator and artist based in the SF Bay Area. I was born in upstate NY, grew up there and on the Oregon Coast, and after a seven year stint in Portland, I moved to the Bay Area in 2004 to earn my MFA at San Francisco Art Institute in 2006. After working as a fine artist for over a decade, I've turned my focus to my first love, illustration. I specialize in editorial, book, and narrative illustration.
