About Siski Kalla.
A warm breeze ruffling your hair, the taste of strawberries on a summer's day, the smell of wet autumn leaves, the silence of snowfall – these are the kinds of things that inspire me to draw and paint. I sketch in pencil, then paint in watercolour and finally finish up with Photoshop. I love Faber Castell 2B pencils more than anything and panic a little when I can't find one! I often get ideas from things just a step or two from my doorstop, but my travels in Asia, Africa, Europe, South and North America have also given me a deep well of ideas to play with. I can't think of anything better to do than draw, paint and write... well except maybe scuba diving, which is just as wonderful!
